Liberty Lakes
The course is a par 33 with four par 3s, four full length par 4s and one par 5, with four sets of tees to choose from. Longest set of tees at 2,548 yards and shortest at 1,715 yards. The course is fairly open with tree lined fairways, 12 bunkers and one lake. With four sets of tees to choose from, it is a perfect place for beginning players and challenging enough for the better players. Trailhead Golf Course was stablished 1973.
About this Project
Liberty Lake Golf Course is located in Spokane, Washington and is one of Spokane’s busiest public courses. The city of Spokane hired Phelps-Atkinson Golf Course Design in 2008 to produce a Master Plan for renovation of the Liberty Lake Golf Course and the Hangman Valley Golf Course. Hangman was the first to proceed in 2009 with construction of new bunkers, tees, new drainage and a new river erosion stabilization. Liberty Lake Golf Course was a complete renovation of all 18-Holes, including design re-routing, a new irrigation system, new lakes, bunkers, greens, tees, cart paths and range netting. It re-opened for play in June of 2010.
